World Without Cows – BGAJ exclusive screening and AGM

BGAJ members are invited to an exclusive preview of the much-anticipated documentary World Without Cows, a Planet of Plenty® production by our partner Alltech. The event will incorporate the Guild's AGM, a networking lunch and a tour of the Alltech museum.

Filmmakers Michelle Michael and Brandon Whitworth have spent the past three years traveling the world in search of the answer to one simple question: Are we better off in a world without cows?

Through interviews with farmers, experts in agriculture and environmental science, and more, World Without Cows explores the cultural and economic significance of cows, their role in nourishing the world, and their impact on the climate.

Spoiler alert: it’s not black and white.

In anticipation of the screening, we encourage you to view the trailer (below) and a behind-the-scenes interview with the filmmakers.

Patrick Charlton (VP Europe, Alltech) and Matthew Smith (VP, Alltech) will be in attendance to facilitate any questions.

The event will form part of the Guild’s 2025 AGM, and members will also have a chance to take part in a guided tour of the Alltech museum. A networking lunch will be provided.

Timings are subject to change, but a rough outline of the day is as follows:

2.30 World Without Cows screening followed by Q & A with Alltech
