World Whale Day: Fishing Clinc

Celebrate World Whale Day with an afternoon of fishing, Ocean Education and craft. Come and learn about the ocean’s gentle giants with our volunteers. We’ll teach you how to bait and cast a rod, and then you can complete activity sheets and decorate our whale mural whilst we wait for the fish to bite! 

What's Included

• Bait, fishing rods, chairs, rod holders etc
• Some chairs provided (BYO welcomed)
• Information and activity sheets on whales and fish
• Whale mural, paint, decorations
• Water testing equipment
• Flora and fauna identification guides
• Rubbish bags, gloves and tongs to collect rubbish

• BBQs and Picnic Tables
• Terrains include sealed roads, gravel paths, grass and wooden boardwalks
• Dog-friendly park (on leash)

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a booking, please cancel via Eventbrite as soon as possible - these sessions are sought-after, with limited spaces available.

Cancellation of a session may be required by the organiser when predicted adverse weather or other conditions may be unsafe or unsuitable - notifications will be made via email & mobile SMS, sometimes within 24 hours of the intended start time.
