Join Water Speaks, the Department of Geography & Planning, the School of the Environment, and the U of T President’s Advisory Committee on the Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainability (CECCS) for World Water Day 2026.📅 Friday, March 27, 2026

In partnership with UTM Fish, the program will open with an Indigenous water prayer led by Brooke Holdsworth, Bimiwidamaw Nibi (Carries Water), followed by a presentation and book signing with acclaimed photographer and author Mark Zelinski, featuring his new book Niagara Escarpment: Land Between Waters. The event will also include an interactive discussion on water issues with UTM FISH, raffle draws, and time to connect with fellow attendees. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
Let’s come together to reflect on water and our shared responsibility. 💧
