She will be on the first-floor stage. Our India Immersion and interactive henna program will be presented by Anshu Varma, who did a similar program at Sandcastles about 14 years ago. The henna portion of the program will be interactive for children ages 10 and up and interactive with parents and children for younger children. She will share several aspects of Indian culture and their purposes and meanings, including saree (sari) draping, the bindi, and bangles. Grant is from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.
