Indianapolis native and world-renowned surfer Buzzy Kerbox is returning to his hometown to share his inspiring life story! Join us on Monday, September 23 at 1:30 PM at United Methodist Church, 5500 N. Meridian St. This motivational event is free and open to the public.

Buzzy grew up on the west side of Indianapolis before rising to fame as a competitive surfer in Hawaii. He won the World Cup in 1978 and the Grand Masters in 1998, modeled for Ralph Lauren, and performed stunts in Water World. He’s also known for co-inventing tow-out surfing with Laird Hamilton.

Kerbox will discuss perseverance, risk-taking, and his surfing innovations, offering a unique glimpse into his journey from Indiana to global surfing fame.

Attendees are encouraged to wear Hawaiian attire.
