World Refugee Day: Rule Breakers Movie Screening & Panel Discussion

Join us in recognition of World Refugee Day for an evening of storytelling, reflection, and community dialogue.

The event will begin with a special pre-reception featuring local dignitaries, community leaders, and partners, creating space for connection and shared commitment to supporting refugee communities.

The evening will continue with a screening of a powerful true-life film highlighting the resilience and courage of Afghan women who continue to fight for change in the face of adversity. Their stories offer an intimate look into the realities of displacement, identity, and resistance.

Following the film, stay for a panel discussion with local women leaders, advocates, and community members who will share their perspectives, lived experiences, and insights on supporting refugee communities both globally and here at home.

This event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and stand in solidarity with women whose voices deserve to be heard.
