World Refugee & Immigrant Festival

Join us for the World Refugee & Immigrant Festival, a joyful celebration of our vibrant international community. Enjoy delicious global cuisine, hear powerful stories from refugee speakers, experience live entertainment, get henna, and take part in family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Together, we'll celebrate the cultures, traditions, and stories that make our communities stronger. Come connect with neighbors from around the world as we honor our shared humanity and the strength found in our diversity.

This festival is made possible through the collaboration of Connecticut organizations dedicated to welcoming and uplifting refugee and immigrant communities, including Elena's Light, IRIS (Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services), Havenly, Sanctuary Kitchen, CRIW (Collective for Refugee & Immigrant Wellbeing), New International Hope for Refugees and Immigrants, CT Students for a Dream, Q House, Junta for Progressive Action, and other incredible partners.

We want to make celebrating the refugee and immigrant community accessible to all. While the event is free, donations are welcome and help support this event and the organizations hosting it. RSVP your spot today!
