World Quantum Day in Ireland 2026

Join Quantum Ireland at IDA Ireland on April 14, 2026 for an exciting in-person event where we explore the paths and opportunities available for companies to begin working with quantum technology.

Speaking to companies across the Island, one message is clear: many are looking to begin exploring quantum, but few know where to start. We’ll try to answer this with:

• Presentations on government funding programmes aimed at supporting emerging technology research and development

• Showcasing quantum companies who are actively seeking industry collaborations to prove out their most recent advances, as well as case-studies in some of the research that has been recently achieved, and

• Exploring a number of courses for professionals that will allow companies to begin developing in-house quantum expertise

And of course, you’ll have the opportunity to network with other likeminded companies, quantum providers, and academics, all looking to build Irish industry quantum capabilities.

Quantum Ireland is a working group of stakeholders from across the country that have joined to voice industry opinion and help develop the Irish quantum ecosystem. It was initially formed in response to the Quantum 2030 strategy, which noted the important role that enterprise must play in the development and growth of a local ecosystem. The larger goal is to strategise for a local quantum industry ecosystem and explore how we can directly support its development.
