The Baltimore Psychedelic Society proudly presents the world premiere of Sacred Science, a compelling new documentary by filmmaker Kent McKinney.
What if we could make peace with death? Sacred Science explores the healing potential of psychedelics for patients facing terminal illness and the deeper human search for meaning and peace at the end of life. Through intimate conversations with patients, clinicians, and researchers, the film examines how confronting mortality with a sense of curiosity and acceptance, rather than fear, may ultimately transform the way we live.
The evening’s program will begin with a 40-minute screening of the documentary. Following the film, attendees are invited to participate in a thought-provoking panel discussion that will explore the movie’s themes in greater depth. The panel will feature the film’s director, Kent McKinney; psychedelic research luminary Dr. Bill Richards; and several other key contributors involved in the creation of the film.
Following the discussion, there will be a brief reception where guests can connect with the movie’s principals, members of the BPS leadership, and fellow community members.
