Join us as we premiere OUTLIERS AND OUTLAWS at Portland's QDOC Film Festival. Our filmmakers will be in attendance along with several Narrators for a Q&A following the screening. Outliers and Outlaws is a story of lesbian world-builders who migrated to Eugene, Oregon in the 1960s-80s. Intimate portraits–both then and now–model living in hard times with hope, humor, and commitment to social change. Narrated by musician Jody Bleyle (Team Dresch and Hazel) Outliers includes a rich archive of images documenting this groundbreaking community.
QDOC is the only festival in the world dedicated to solely exhibiting LGBTQIA+ documentary films. As a queer Oregon story, this festival has been a goal for our world premiere. We're so grateful to launch our film at QDOC. The festival runs from Friday November 15 - Sunday November 17 at the historic Hollywood Theater in Portland, Oregon.
