I'm honored to invite you to the World Premiere screening of my short, "Rhythm and Harmony: A Stanley Clarke Film", an official selection for the 2025 Newport Beach Film Festival.
Filmmaker/Educator Roxanne Messina Captor in this documentary follows Grammy winning famed jazz musician Stanley Clarke, his life and his three year residency at BroadStage, training and performing with Santa Monica College musicians. In the residency Clarke performs with the students at all new Jazz festivals presented by BroadStage. Messina Captor utilized students in her documentary class at SMC to work with other film professionals and produce the film.
