Los Angeles, California
The unforgettable evening (Wednesday, January 14th) will be hosted at one of Los Angeles’s most celebrated and iconic venues, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Guests will be welcomed with a sweeping “green”-carpet entrance, complete with full media coverage by Getty Images and a curated selection of chef-crafted, sustainably sourced bites and beverages by Wolfgang Puck.

Created in partnership with The Rockefeller Foundation, the film embodies the Foundation’s century-long mission to improve human well-being through creative partnerships. The premiere will highlight the Foundation’s landmark $100 million commitment to provide nutritious meals to 100 million children worldwide—one of the largest global efforts to end child hunger in our time.

Produced by Media RED, an award-winning Los Angeles creative studio recognized by Inc. Magazine with the Best in Business Award for General Excellence, Media, and International Aid, FOOD 2050 reflects the firm’s long-standing track record of shaping cultural moments with measurable global impact.

The Los Angeles premiere will also feature a special program presented by Food Tank, the largest grassroots nonprofit uniting leaders across policy, research, business, and culture to build a more equitable global food system. The evening will bring together an extraordinary guest list—activists, policymakers, filmmakers, and changemakers—each committed to reshaping the systems that determine what the world eats.

Hosted at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, one of Los Angeles’s most celebrated and iconic cultural landmarks, the premiere offers an unforgettable setting. Designed by a Pritzker Prize–winning architect, the Academy Museum is a showcase for the art and impact of cinema, featuring immersive exhibitions and world-class theaters. The museum’s dedication to storytelling, innovation, and global connection makes it the ideal stage for FOOD 2050, a film that celebrates those reshaping the story of our shared future.

With the convergence of Hollywood storytelling, global policy leadership, and mass grassroots participation, FOOD 2050is positioned to be more than a film premiere. It is a global turning point—a moment when the world comes together to reimagine the future of food.

This is a one-night-only event. Please save the date and join us for this remarkable evening. Together, we can spark the change that will nourish both our people and our planet for generations to come.

Park City, Utah
On Saturday, January 24th, the premiere continues at the Auberge Resorts Lodge at Blue Sky’s Ski Lounge in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival. From 3:30PM–6:30PM, guests will gather for an intimate and immersive world premiere celebration of FOOD 2050.

The culinary experience is curated by an exceptional lineup of chefs: Dave White, known from Bravo’s Below Deck for his bold, ingredient-driven cooking; Eric Gephardt, a chef, educator, and global ambassador for sustainable seafood whose work connects diners directly to ocean health; and Bleu Adams, a Diné restaurateur and food sovereignty advocate dedicated to strengthening Indigenous foodways and supporting Native entrepreneurs. Together, they bring depth, purpose, and a strong sense of place to the menu—dishes that are locally inspired, culturally grounded, and fully aligned with the spirit of the film.

Food Tank’s 6th annual programming during Sundance has become a trusted, sold-out gathering for founders and CEOs, chefs, activists, philanthropists, studio executives, artists, celebrities, and cultural leaders shaping the future of food and climate solutions. The Utah premiere continues that tradition, offering a warm, intimate space where meaningful conversations flow easily and new collaborations take root.

With its fires, handcrafted cocktails, and sweeping mountain views, the Ski Lounge at Blue Sky offers a cinematic setting—an ideal backdrop for a film that spans continents and imagines bold possibilities for our shared future.

It is part of a global moment bringing together art, food, and community to spark change.
