A weekend of community events in Lyme Regis to raise awareness of World Parkinson's Day and show support for people living with the condition. Activities will focus on Jubilee Pavilion on Marine Parade. There will be a comprehensive awareness display, sharing vital information about Parkinson's, available support, advances in research and access to local groups and activities.There will also be a series of Seaside Chats with Parkinson's experts and professionals sharing their knowledge and information throughout the weekend.
As evening falls the trees in Langmoor Gardens will be illuminated blue. The display will mark World Parkinson’s Day on Saturday 11 April, when Parkinson’s UK encourages communities across the country to “Make It Blue”
