SYNOPSIS: Annie has been on the streets since she was 13. David's parents tried to include him in their suicide pact. Marius doesn't trust traffic lights. Casey preaches social justice outside shopping malls. Dr. Emilio is a charmer with a prescription pad. Jules is trying to save them all just by being kind. And it might not be working.

GEORGE F. WALKER: George F. Walker is a well-known and critically-acclaimed Toronto playwright, who has won 9 Chalmers Awards, 5 Dora Mavor Moore Awards, 3 Governor General's awards (including the Lifetime Achievement Award), and has been appointed to the Order of Canada. His hard-hitting tragicomedies often illuminate the lives of poor, underserved, and marginalized people.

WORLD ON FIRE THEATRE COLLECTIVE: The World on Fire Theatre Collective is an artists' collective dedicated to showcasing the works of critically-acclaimed Canadian playwright, George F. Walker. Founded in Toronto in 2025, by a group of fearless actors who just wanted the opportunity to perform meaningful work, they have developed into a dedicated production team, with the support of friends, family, and Walker devotees.

The world truly is on fire, both literally and figuratively, and this collective seeks to bring uncomfortable truths to light. Never afraid to confront difficult issues, they live by the motto, "Theatre is life!"
