Think you’ve got what it takes to win? Compete in the Great Lakes Snowsnake Competition for a chance to take home $100 in your age category—and the grand prize of $1,000 for the best throw! Registration takes place on-site the day of the event—be sure to arrive early to sign up and get in some practice!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Bring your own snowsnake or borrow one of ours.
• Each competitor gets 3 chances to throw their snowsnake the farthest (a traditional wooden log with a smooth underside).
• All throws must be underhand and close to the ground.

12:00 PM: Kids’ Competition
12:30 PM: Teens’ Competition
1:00 PM: Adult Females’ Competition
1:30 PM: Adult Males’ Competition
2:00 PM: Elders’ Competition
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Scoring
3:00 PM: Winners Announced + Grand Prize Winner
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Closing Ceremony

• Government Center Ramp - 0.4 miles from venue.
• Area 7 DASH Parking ($4 full day rate) - 0.8 miles from venue or Free Shuttle every 15 min.
• Area 9 DASH Parking ($3 full day rate) - 1.0 mile from venue or Free Shuttle every 15 min.
