World of Henna Film Screening & Morocco Film Fundraiser

Take an inspirational and informative journey through the vibrancy of all that is India. From the henna wallahs on the colorful and lively streets, to traditional henna application methods in the home, and of course, the sumptuousness of the incomparable Indian wedding.

World of Henna is the first feature length documentary film series to capture the story of henna and the differences and similarities between cultures using henna since ancient times. The film won the Portland Filmmakers award at the 2021 Portland Film Festival!

Our first fundraiser event helped cover the costs of our driver and translator as we ventured through the desert to capture the world of Moroccan henna last March. We are now fundraising for post production costs including sound mastering, coloring, musical score, release costs, and the multitude of other costs involved in independent film production.
