About this Event
World Ocean Day - Printed Oceans. Sea Lab Art Show
Join us for an in-person environmental art workshop celebrating Sea Lab's capstone project: Printed Oceans, a kid-sized art installation of a sailboat with a quilted sail made up of relief prints of marine debris. Telling the story of our oceans via the power of art.
Designed and assembled by our young artist explorers, showcasing prints of found objects from our ocean. Made to drive positive action for our ocean and foster child like wonder for innovative ways to transform ocean trash into art. Advocating for a greener planet and cleaner ocean.
Embark on a morning of creativity at our maker labs and craft your own take-home project using the same materials our youth artists have used to create their stunning art piece.
Join us for a hands-on experience that celebrates innovation, conservation, and artistic expression. Open to all families, learning abilities and skills.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to be inspired and support the next generation of environmental stewards.
Thank you to our partners in learning:

About
We unite the practice of art with the practice of science, to redefine how youth learn about the environment. The Sea Lab Project is an after school program for Youth through Art, STEM Mentorship, ocean exploration, and creative maker labs. A program that combines aquatic learning activities with beach and waterway cleanups that turn the debris collected into works of art.
