The Aquarium will celebrate World Ocean Day on Saturday, June 6 with a FREE family-friendly party that will include crafts, food trucks, music, hands-on activities, and special tours of the Aquarium. As a thank you to our community and to celebrate the upcoming 25th birthday of the Aquarium later this summer, our World Ocean Day celebration will include free admission to the Aquarium and History Center! From 10am – 2pm, join us in discovering the life in our oceans and how important it is to us. World Ocean Day will include activities inside the Aquarium, outdoors throughout Museum Pointe Park and inside the St. Lucie County Regional History Center (also free admission). The celebration will bring together ocean lovers from our community for an exciting day of marine marvels!
Inside the Aquarium, join a fish feeding tour (10:30am & 2:30pm) or sign up for a behind-the-scenes tour (11:30 am & 1:30pm). Outdoor activities will include ocean-themed crafts, driving remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), live art demonstrations, face painting, a bounce house, a live DJ and fun activities with scientists from the Smithsonian Marine Station and other area ocean-related organizations!
Parking is free and available across the street from the Aquarium at Causeway Cove Marina (601 Seaway Drive).
We’ll sea you there! 🌊🦀🐠🦈🦑🪸🪼
