For the beautiful ladies of Adelaide...........I 'am so excited that I can share this amazing project with you for the 2nd year in a row.Firstly, let me say that Ginga is more than just dance moves. Ginga is the attitude that a dancer adopts on the dance floor. This means by which we communicate our musicality and energy with ourselves and our partner.
But the most important addition to any dance is your UNIQUE flavour, confidence, presence and expression that you add to every step.
All of those things together make up your unique signature as a dancer, your attitude, your "Ginga" on the dancefloor.
The World Kizomba Project was created by Nemanja Sonero to expand the awareness and understanding of Kizomba.
The aim of the Ginga Flash mob is not just to promote Kizomba, but to celebrate the beauty and power of women, our amazing ladies from all over the world, our queens, our sisters.
For the last 6 years Nemanja and the WKP have organized this Ginga project in collaboration with 4 amazing Queen Kizomba Instructors from around the world to choreograph a beautiful routine to a beautiful piece of music. Teams all around the world then perform this routine in celebration of International Women's Day held in March.
So, this year more than ever, their goal for the project is to re-connect, create magic and join our sisters from around the world.
This is a donation-based project.
The participation donation fee for this year's project is $100 aud.
Part of this donation ($16.62 or $10 Euro) goes to support the Charity chosen by Nemanja and the World Kizomba Project. The remainder goes towards Costumes, Photographer/Videographer, Studio Hire etc.
