Celebrate World Kindness Day with the library and our friends from the Abilene Recovery Council. Listen to "Sometimes It's Hard to be Nice" by Maggie C Rudd, a book about learning and practicing how to be nice in difficult situations. After the story, stick around as the materials will be provided for designing your own Kindness Rocks, which are rocks painted and adorned with positive affirmations. Great for the entire family, the first 24 will receive a copy of the featured book for this program, courtesy of the Abilene Recovery Council.
