World Goth Day is Wednesday May 22nd.
Join us for the fifth annual Columbus Goth Ride!
This will be an in-person ride, but anyone can dress up and bike on their own and share with us under the hashtag #WorldGothDayColumbus . Virtual riders welcome!
This will be a flat, relaxed small group ride through downtown - open to all people of all abilities, with a couple of rest stops to hydrate and take pictures. We will use streets that are as bike-friendly as possible.
We are trying a new launch point this year; we will meet near the top of the Franklin Park Conservatory outdoor amphitheater around 6:15, and will be stepping off on our fun & fashionable tour through downtown around 6:30pm. We will return to Franklin Park, so coordinating parking or pickup is easier. Ride is "unsupported" (bring your own snacks & drinks), and you can feel free to join or leave at any point. We usually try to ride from park to park through downtown (Topiary park, Bicentennial park, etc)
Dress up in the finest fripperies your dark heart desires! Bring bluetooth speakers and play your gothic favorites while we ride! Bring a camera! Bring a pet in a basket or your favorite skeleton! Let us show the capital city our style!
This is a free event so dress up and have fun being bold in public!
