World Environment Day Activities - Woodcroft Community Centre

Come along and be inspired! We have a fun-packed program for the day that includes:

• 10:30am and 12noon – Get Gardening: Winter in the Garden: 40 min tours of the community garden with Peter and Mel - discover tips on what to plant/remove this time of the year at home, incl optional seedling planting and simple bee hotel making activities.   11:15am - Recycle Right Q&A in the Library: 45 min interactive presentation by Alex from our Waste Education team. She'll show you what goes in which bin and how to recycle right to reduce waste to landfill - includes plenty of time for Q&A. No bookings required - just turn up.

  Between 10am-1pm - Energy Bills Explained: 20 min one-on-one sessions - bring your bills and meet with Ryan our energy expert to see if you're on the right tarrif and where you can save money on energy use! Bookings preferred - https://EnergyBillsExplainedWoodcroftCC.eventbrite.com.au

• 
  Between 10am-1pm - in the foyer: Grab a bargain at the Upcycle Boutique; have a bite to eat at Café 175; and visit the Sustainable Onkaparinga display. The Library will be open and you can check out their eco collection incl Energy toolkits.
