💙 What is World Down Syndrome Day?
World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated every year on March 21 (3/21) — a date chosen to represent Trisomy 21, the genetic condition that causes Down syndrome. The day is about celebrating individuals with Down syndrome, raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and advocating for acceptance and belonging.
🧦 Why the socks?
Socks are worn because they resemble chromosomes — and wearing them mismatched is a fun way to show that differences are something to celebrate!
Whether you’re a longtime FCDSN family or brand new, we’d love to see you. Let’s fill Bill Gray’s with smiles, silly socks, and community pride — and support FCDSN while we’re at it!
💙💛
No RSVP needed — just stop by and celebrate with us!
