World Communion Sunday is a day to celebrate Christian unity and ecumenical cooperation. It's observed on the first Sunday of October by several Christian denominations, including the Presbyterian Church in the USA, which started the observance in 1936. The day is a time to reflect on being part of a larger community and to embrace diversity and unity within the Christian community.
This event will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley. It is a joint worship event that will include our church’s congregation and three others.
For Potluck:
The Potluck meal will be served after the worship. Please bring food or refreshments to share with others.
