World Car free Day Ride into Fall

Celebrate World Car free day with us and discover the magnificent Biidaasige Park, a car-free destination that is designed for people to interact with nature and each other. What better way to celebrate the first day of Fall?What: A social bike ride and picnic suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
When: Monday, Sep 22, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where and when:
- 5:30 PM gather at Union Station by the Bike Share station (Front St W and Bay St on the south west side)
- 5:40 PM ride departs for Biidaasige Park via Queens Quay and the Martin Goodman Trail
- 6:15 PM arrive at Biidaasige Park for a picnic and trail discovery! (we invite you to bring snacks to share or food to eat) - please bring your own eating utensils to reduce the amount of waste produced.
- 7:00 PM head back to Union via Parliament, Mill St and Esplanade (we will also make a brief detour to visit the Pasture Sculptures at the TD Centre)
- 7:30 PM end at Union
Note: all participants must have working lights and a bell. We encourage all participants to wear a helmet; however, they are mandatory (and the law) for people 16 years and under, and for those riding e-bikes.
