About this Event

Deafinitely Theatre is inviting you to join our free World Café event which is linked to our new show The Promise.

The Promise is about a deaf family and how they deal with dementia before and after the diagnosis. We want the World Café to continue the discussions from the show in a safe space where everyone can contribute.

The event will be held when?
Thursday 25 April 2024, 11am – 4pm at BAB NQ, Manchester!

What is it for? We will be opening up conversations, talking about experiences with dementia and what it’s like caring for deaf people who live with dementia. We also want to think about ways the deaf community can have better access to services.

All discussions on the day will be in the relaxed and informal “café style”. There will be free tea and coffee available to enjoy whilst chatting!

The World Café will be BSL interpreted.
