AHAT Homecare and Tacoma Art Museum are partnering to present World AIDS Day – “Put People First” event at the Tacoma Art Museum. In the wake of the loss of PCAF, World AIDS Day will center around hope, remembrance, and resiliency within people living with HIV/AIDS in Pierce County. The event will have community art activity, drag story time, a panelist of people living with HIV sharing their story, Visual AIDS – short films screening “A Day without Art”, and other activities. We hope you can join us. In observance of World AIDS Day, Tacoma Art Museum is honored to host the AIDS Memorial Quilt, a powerful symbol of love, remembrance, and resilience. Join us as we display this impactful tribute, commemorating the lives lost and raising awareness about the continued impact of AIDS on our communities.
