Join the AIDS Committee of Ottawa on December 1, 2026, as we commemorate World AIDS Day.
10-11am
The day begins with our annual Red Ribbon Flag Raising Ceremony on Parliament Hill, featuring Red Scarves Distribution, Indigenous Opening Ceremony, special guest speakers, and Red Ribbon Flag Raising Ceremony to remember those we have lost and honour those living with HIV & AIDS.
12-2pm:
We then gather at the National Arts Centre for a Community Reception & Lunch, AIDS Quilt Ceremony, Performances by Local Artists, and Community Activities that celebrate resilience, remembrance, and hope.
Together, we remember. Together, we rise.
