The hugely successful Fun Palace returns to Worksop Library for its 5th year, bringing a variety of free and fun activities! Come along and be part of the Fun Palace fun as you try out different arts, science, health and heritage activities aimed at anyone of any age.We’ll be welcoming local community groups and organisations including:
Mr Straw's House National Trust - Rag rug making
The Harley Gallery - Paper crafts
Ignite! - Science busking
Worksop Town FC Academy - Fun football challenges
ABL Health - Smoothie bike, beer goggles and Health MOTs
From the Heart Charity - Make a Forky and bracelet making
Women in Engineering (University of Sheffield) - Virtual reality and snap circuits
Bassetlaw Museum - Roman craft activities
Inspire Learning - Paper gliders and leaf wands
Inspire College - Mindfulness colouring and meditation

Finally...
We'll be welcoming a very special guest to the library! Bill Oddity’s Bewildered Beasts is a menagerie of the imaginary starring Pongo - the world’s only chocolate egg laying, 7 foot tall, baby Fudgerigar!
Curious and cheeky, Pongo is a bundle of fun and feathers. He can’t fly yet, but he can run rings around Bill who is always getting himself in a flap! Help Bill as he feeds Pongo and tries to establish a pecking order. Learn how to talk to Pongo...ask him nicely and he might even ‘shell out’ and lay you a little treat!
The walkabout show with Pongo will take place at various times during Fun Palace day from 11.45am.
