Back in Portland, ME for another round of workshops and private lessons, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the topics I've been developing in my teaching and dancing!
Below you'll find the full schedule, workshop descriptions, and pricing. There are five main workshops, plus a special pre-milonga workshop on Sunday at Robert's Tea Dance Milonga. All levels are welcome, and you do not need to come with a partner. I look forward to seeing you!

Saturday

Music Has Sentences Too
(Recognize musical phrases and discover how they shape movement, figures, pauses, dynamics, and expression.)
2:45–4:15pm | Workshop 3
Musical Co-Creation
(Take your musicality one step further and discover how leaders and followers each contribute to the conversation, creating richer connection, deeper expression, and a more dynamic dance.)
Sunday
12:45–2:00pm | Pre-Milonga Workshop (Separate from package price)
The Art of Contrast
(Learn to shape movement through moments of stillness, suspension, and release to create a beautifully composed and expressive dance.)
2:00-5:00pm | The Tea Dance Milonga (hosted by Robert Schoenberg)
Tuesday

Bringing Depth & Sophistication to Simple Figures
(Create dances your partners will remember, not because of the figures, but because of how they felt.)
Wednesday
7:00–8:30pm | Workshop 5
From Memorizing Steps to Improvisational Freedom
(The underlying architecture that allows familiar movements to connect naturally, giving both leaders and followers greater freedom, creativity, and confidence in improvisation together.)
