"Tactical Technique" - Static Trapeze I
Augment your technique on static trapeze by learning the key concepts behind dynamic movement and fundamental drills designed to increase power and efficiency. Beneficial to any student, beginning or advanced
**Students should attend this session to register for Trapeze II, unless they already have extensive experience with dynamic trapeze--beats, drops, etc**

"Power Hungry" - Static Trapeze II
Push your dynamic flow skills to the next level with complex beat styles both decorative and functional, and how to best link dynamic tricks into smooth, continuous movement. This is for the intermediate to advanced student, fully capable of pulling over out of a beat and comfortable with knee beats.

"No Frills Skills & Drills" - Sling I
In this workshop, students will learn the techniques for executing smooth, effortless beats and dynamic tricks. Want consecutive elbow circles but don’t have them yet? Afraid to drop into ankle hang? Come to this workshop with any dynamic skill you’d like to troubleshoot and dive into the core of dynamic movement under a master technician’s eye.
**Students should attend this session to register for Sling I, unless they already have extensive experience with dynamic trapeze--beats, drops, etc**
Prerequisites
ability to invert into the sling from standing on the ground with the bottom of the sling hung at head height
solid double knee hang
a familiarity with beats will be helpful but is not required

Sunday, June 20th at 2:30pm
"Fierce Flow" - Sling II
For those students already familiar with beats and ankle drops, take this workshop to push your dynamic sequencing skills to the next level. Learn more complex beat styles and how to link big drops into smooth, continuous movement. All power, no plop! Students are strongly encouraged to take Sling I before Sling II.
Prerequisites
ability to do hold a long hang for 10 sec (hanging from sling in hollow body with nothing supporting the pelvis or feet)
ability to invert from standing inside the sling and ability to invert into the sling from standing on the ground with the sling at head height
single-knee hang on both sides

Character & Artistry - Any Apparatus
Learn how to explore your own inner world in order to create the language of your aerial act. Everyone knows the importance of interesting transitions, but what is "quality of movement"? Learn to find the right rhythm between tricks, punctuate a particular shape, and convey emotional tone through movement. Explore the infinite possibilities of shape, movement, and expression. Shake up your usual habits and discover a spectrum of creative movement, from bizarre to beautiful, pretty to peculiar, both on and off the apparatus.

About the Instructor:
Camille Swift (aka Femme Fenix) is a professional aerialist from Chicago with over 10 years of training and practice in static trapeze and dance trapeze. Her approach to aerial sling is highly influenced by the trapeze discipline, with emphasis on dynamic beat sequences. She received her training at Aloft Circus Arts and from various international coaches in Montreal and Paris. She has performed around the country and abroad in France.
