Join us on Saturday, July 20th from 10am-12pm as we take flight into the world of bats and construct cozy roosts for our nocturnal neighbors! Learn about the essential role bats play in our ecosystem and how providing bat houses can aid in their preservation in the wild. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the process, from selecting bat-friendly materials to assembling and installing your own bat house. Whether you're a seasoned builder or a novice, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about native bat species.
Registration includes a brief presentation on local bat species and their habitat needs as well as building materials and refreshments!
