This workshop introduces you to the research, tools, and resources that CCAHA developed jointly with Lyrasis as part of our Cultural Stewardship Succession Planning Initiative. Through a combination of tabletop simulations and discussion, you’ll be able to put these tools into action, preparing for your own succession planning journey.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
Identify tools that can be used for succession planning and/or knowledge transfer
Apply these tools to your own institution and role using hypothetical scenarios we’ve created
Develop a framework for decision making in succession planning
Generate ideas for succession planning at your institution
As part of the workshop, enjoy a tour of CCAHA’s conservation lab at the conclusion of the program.
