Workshop: Writing for the Mic

Join the team behind Enough Said Poetry Slam for a fun, low-pressure opportunity to generate new work and get feedback on your writing from the workshop facilitators and fellow participants.
If you would like to get feedback on an existing poem of yours ahead of reading it on the Enough Said stage the following week, please bring a few copies of your poem, and tell the facilitators on arrival so that they can make time for it.
In addition to the usual workshop format of writing prompts to generate new work, group sharing and facilitator feedback, this month's workshop will also include some tips and practice on writing and performing poems that win, ahead of the Wollongong Heat of the Australian Poetry Slam the following week.
The workshop will take place in the Lilli Pilli Room in Wollongong Library, and you will also have the opportunity to join on Zoom, thanks to the South Coast Writers Centre.
