Writing about spirituality is a powerful way to connect to your true self, but let’s be real—it can also be a little nerve-wracking! Join Appleton Poet Laureate Cathryn Cofell to explore how writing can help to express, inspire, and encourage your own spirituality. Cathryn will share sample poems and writing prompts that will allow you to reflect on and write about your own spiritual beliefs and practices.
Attendees will learn to:
Reflect on your own spiritual beliefs and practices.
Address themes of doubt and struggle without fear of recrimination.
Develop a sustainable writing practice that honors your creative and spiritual voice.
Create “imperfectly human” characters that readers can actually relate to.
Where: Brown County Library Central Branch Board Room, second floor Board Room, 515 Pine Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin
When: Saturday, September 26, 3:00 - 4:30 pm
Cost: Free, space is limited to 12 participants
