This will be our first live meet for quite some time. Previously everything has been done via zoom but for those of you who share our commitment to the search for something deeper, with like minded souls, I believe this is for you and we’d love to meet you. In this day and age we need direction and for seekers of the Truth, this is definitely the way. Theosophy is an Ancient Greek word defining Divine Wisdom.
Our current program is the study of ‘Thought Forms’ by Annie Besant and C W Leadbeater. Two second generation Theosophists who studied the Ancient Wisdom from Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and the Secret Doctrine. We will give a brief description of our study so far on thought forms, which reach to vibrations, colour and music but in addition to this we will provide an interactive session that I’m sure you will appreciate.
Please bring a pendant, a talisman or necklace with you.
For previous sessions on line, check out our FB Page, ‘Theosophical Society Durham England.’ A donation of £3.00 per person is suggested.
This is an in-person event and will be held upstairs at the Woods Room, Waddington Street URC church in downtown Durham. This is easily accessible from bus, train and car. On the street parking is free on Sundays in Durham. Please see our Files section for detailed location information.
