Workshop: Supporting clients on their philanthropic journey

This session is designed exclusively for North East professional advisors, including solicitors, wealth managers, accountants, tax specialists, will and estate planners, and anyone who supports clients as they plan their wealth, legacy and impact.

Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Clients are increasingly thinking more about what their wealth can achieve beyond financial return. They are turning to trusted advisors to help shape that thinking.

This workshop gives practical tools, clear language and usable insight so you can lead conversations about charitable giving (philanthropy) with ease.

We will explore how charitable giving fits naturally within existing planning, and how you can guide clients towards choices that reflect their values, goals and long-term intentions.

You will:

• strengthen conversations with clients about charitable giving
• discover simple ways to introduce philanthropy within advice you already provide
• gain clarity on structures and options that support meaningful giving
• understand how community foundations can work alongside you as a trusted partner

If your clients are asking questions about purpose, legacy and impact, this session will help you guide them with assurance and clarity.

A breakfast version of this workshop will also take place in Newcastle upon Tyne, hosted by Community Foundation North East. It will run from 8:30am to 10:30am at The Common Room, Newcastle upon Tyne.
