Workshop: Restorative Approaches to Conflict with Rev. Dr. Samantha WilsonIn person - Limited to 30 people.
Come learn from Rev. Dr. Samantha as we explore how to engage with conflict directly in our own lives and in our congregation. Come for community, centering, circle, brain science, and skills. Leave with practical tools to engage conflict and interrupt harm from the fields of restorative and transformative justice.
Breakfast treats as well as a warm Indian lunch, sponsored by Sam Meyer, will be served to all participants.
Topics will include:
- Origins of circle and restorative and transformative justice and practice
- Brain science behind our physical reactions to stress and conflict
- Techniques to cultivate more choice and centeredness in your responses to conflict or harm
- Exploration of restorative/transformative frameworks for our personal and community life
- Hands-on practice!
*Note: Participants are encouraged to either attend or view the recording of the Zoom call on "Misconduct in Congregations" prior to this workshop.
