Workshop: Nature Art~ 'Autumn Botanical Textures', Beginners +, Eindhoven

Come join us and experiment with a mix of watercolour painting, pencils and resist techniques to illustrate the autumn season. Whether you're an experienced artist or have tried painting or sketching at home or in a previous workshop, I'll have some fresh tips and tricks for you to discover. Each session has specially-designed printed worksheets and guides to take home.

This workshop will have a special focus on the botancial textures.

We'll work on how to~

• Become familiar with your materials

• Illustrate foliage, twigs, lichen etc. with a lively texture

• Learn illustration shortcuts and tricks

• Overcome perfectionism and make drawing a fun experience

We'll be working from collected materials, and you'll pick up the fundamentals which can be applied to any sketch subject, not just animals. We'll be using high quality coloured pencils and watercolour paints. All materials (and refreshments!) provided.

Laura Carter is a professional English illustrator, with several years experience of giving art workshops.
