Closed Side – Walks, Bolts and Chains
Exploring the hidden potential of the close side of the embrace
The close side of the embrace is often one of the least explored areas in tango. It demands greater awareness, precision, and dissociation, but it also opens the door to a rich variety of movements and connections that are rarely used to their full potential.
In this class, we will explore walks, bolts, and chain-like sequences designed specifically for the close side of the embrace. By understanding how to move comfortably and efficiently within this space, you will discover new pathways for continuity, musicality, and creativity while maintaining the intimacy and elegance of the embrace.
We look forward to sharing practical tools and inspiring ideas that will expand your movement vocabulary and bring new possibilities to your social dancing.

Lørdag den 15 august kl.16:00-18:00
Barridas – Linear and Circular Pathways
Creating connection through shared movement
Barridas are one of tango’s most playful and elegant elements. Far beyond being an isolated figure, they can appear naturally while walking, entering a movement, or transitioning out of a sequence, creating a seamless dialogue between both dancers.
In this class, we will explore both linear and circular barridas, discovering how they can connect movements, enrich transitions, and add fluidity to the dance. By understanding when and how to invite a barrida, we create a deeper conversation through the feet, developing greater awareness, precision, and connection within the couple.
We look forward to sharing different ways of incorporating barridas into your social dancing, transforming simple transitions into moments of creativity and interaction.
