I sommar gästas vi av Sujeesh från Kerala, Indien, som håller en workshop med fokus på mobilitet och stabilitet i axlar, ryggrad och höfter. Med hjälp av anatomi och fysiologi får du en djupare förståelse för kroppens funktion, hur du kan förbättra hållning och rörelsemönster samt utföra positioner på ett säkert och korrekt sätt för att minska risken för skador. Workshopen hålls på engelska.
In this practical workshop we’ll explore how to build mobility and stability in the shoulders , hips and how to support a healthy spine. You’ll learn movement patterns, alignment cues and targeted exercises that strengthen the muscles needed to protect key joints: neck, wrists, elbows, knees and ankles.
What you’ll learn
• Shoulder: increase range safely, improve scapular control and reduce impingement risk through activation focused drills.
• Hip: restore mobility and add stability for squats.lunges and standing balances.
• Spine: improve posture, segmental mobility and core support to move with more ease and less pain.
• Joint protection: simple principles and muscle engagement strategies to protect neck, wrists, elbows, knees and ankles during yoga and daily life.
• Individualized practice: how to adapt poses and progressions to your body’s unique needs so you can practice safely without injury.
Who it’s for
• All levels welcome. Useful for teachers, regular practitioners and anyone wanting to move with less pain and more confidence.
• Hands on cues, movement sequences, corrective exercises and simple progressions you can use immediately.

Sujeesh Jayakumar is a yoga teacher from India with over 10 years teaching experience and 4 years leading workshops across Europe.
He founded Tattvadhaam school of yoga and wellness in Kerala, India, where he runs 200h and 300h teacher training courses and teach regular classes in Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa flow, Bhakti inspired practices, Breathing techniques and Meditation . His teaching blends alignment and anatomy focused asanas practice.
