Join Kar-Keat Chong, artist, architect, educator and worldly Urban Sketcher for his workshop “Master the Basics: Ink and Watercolor Sketching with Kar-Keat Chong.” Designed to develop confidence and understand the dynamics of sketching on location. Come away with the skills and passion for life-long learning as you embark on your artistic expression through sketching.
This workshop aims to develop conceptual and practical skills in sketching with ink and watercolor. Participants will be exposed to multiple ink medium pens and learn how to sketch and shade with them. Once participants grasp the basic ink sketching techniques, they will learn how to incorporate watercolor into their ink sketches. During the workshop, participants will also learn about perspectives, composition, color concepts and design.
