Workshop: Intro to Collagraphy Printing

Come and have a play with textures and ink with a cosy workshop in my new studio 52, 2nd Floor in the Apparatenfabriek Strijp S (full address- Torenallee 26 - Studio 52, 5617 BD Eindhoven).

This manual print technique is fun, easy to learn and has lots of possibilities to develop beautiful printed monochromatic images.

For this season we’ll be focusing on producing abstract landscapes. Working from landscape photos (feel free to bring your own if you have them) we’ll use a variety of (natural) materials to build the ‘plate’, the base we print from.

You’ll receive a printed guide and a folio for taking your prints and plates home.

This is an extended 3.5 hour workshop so we can really go in-depth with this versatile process. Please arrive on time so we can start!

Suitable for Beginners (15yrs+)

No drawing or printing experience necessary; we’ll provide everything for you to learn the technique under the guidance of illustrator Laura Carter. Suitable for people capable of safely handling sharp tools.

You’ll be creating a plate, inking up and producing several mini prints of your own, so please: don’t come dressed in your best!

I can do the workshop in Dutch and English.
