Workshop: Growing Native Plants from Seed

Join us for a fun hands-on workshop with ecologist Krista De Cooke, Director of Partnerships & Strategy at Homegrown National Park and creator of Krista Plants Native.
Krista will demystify the seed-starting process, sharing how she grew over 750 native plants at home last year. Learn about cold stratification, timing, and soil across direct, winter, and summer sowing methods.
The session concludes with a FREE hands-on winter sowing workshop where you’ll plant native seeds in recycled containers to take home! No experience required.
