This hands-on experience will take you from script to screen as you learn the fundamentals of shooting a scene from a feature film. Start the day with an engaging introduction, highlighting real-world filmmaking techniques by experienced Chief Lighting Technician and Director of Photography Zach Yetman. Then, partake in a role on a set—whether as a cinematographer, lighting technician, or grip—and learn what it takes to bring a film scene to life. From rehearsals to recording multiple takes, you'll get to see every step of the production process. Finally, there will be a review of the footage, an opportunity to ask questions, and connect with fellow filmmakers.
