Step back into 1940s Singapore and see how its defenders prepared for war. As part of Battlebox’s Victory over Japan commemorations, this interactive session explores the uniforms and field gear of Commonwealth forces, revealing what soldiers carried and wore in their daily duties.
You’ll also uncover the critical skill of aircraft recognition - how wartime spotters identified friend from foe and raised timely alarms to protect civilians.
Facilitated by History Fort Singapore, Singapore’s first WWII reenactment group, this programme brings history off the page and into your hands with authentic equipment and compelling stories.
Suitable for the whole family. Recommended for ages 7 and above. Tickets include Basic Experience Admission to the Battlebox on the same day.
