Join SCAD MOA for an illustration demo and workshop inspired by famed artist Saul Steinberg, best known for his spirited and satirical drawings published in The New Yorker throughout the mid-to-late 20th century. During the event, presented in connection with the exhibition Saul Steinberg: Drawing, Looking, Living, assistant curator Brittany Richmond hosts an on-stage call-and-response with SCAD professors as they quickly live-draw their answers to prompts related to the works on view. Audience members are encouraged to participate with their own artistic responses for a chance to win prizes.
Bring your sketch pads and pencils and meet in the museum theater for this fun workshop.
This event is free and open to the public.
