Workshop: Dumpling Demonstration and Book Talk / 介绍包雲吞及各類皮子的製作與書談

Location: San Francisco Main Library - 3rd Floor - Chinese Center

Learn about the traditional techniques to wrap dumplings in this interactive culinary experience with the Kong family as they share family stories and tips. Attendees who participate in all the dumpling stations will receive a special gift with dumpling samples and a package of their noodles to cook at home (while supplies last). Enter the raffle for a chance to win a signed copy of their book.

90-Year-Old Noodle Handbook Batch 1.0 is a glimpse into the craft of noodle-making passed down through four generations of the Kong family—noodle-makers behind two of San Francisco’s oldest noodle factories, Mon Sing Noodle Co. (Est. Since 1932) and Tin Wah Noodle Co. (San Francisco Original Since 1940s).

We're also celebrating Mon Sing Noodle Co.'s 93rd Anniversary and the launch of their new book, 90-Year-Old Noodle Handbook: Batch 1.0. Don’t miss this special occasion honoring nearly a century of noodle-making tradition!

在與江氏家族成員分享家庭故事和小貼士的同時，參與互動制作體驗，學習傳統的包雲吞、餃子和鍋貼技能。完成所有包餃子環節的參與者將獲得一份特別的禮物，包括一份鍋貼和一盒民生麺厰/天華麵厰製作的麵條，供大家回家與家人分享，體會一下江氏家族四代傳承至今麵條制作的技藝。（數量有限，送完即止）。參加抽獎，有機會贏取他們簽名的書籍。

江氏家族是舊金山歷史最悠久的兩家麵廠——民生麵厰（成立於1932年）和天華麵厰（成立於20世紀40年代）——背後的製面工匠。
