Workshop - Decorative Capital Letters

No calligraphy experience is needed for this fun workshop, where you will design your own initial or monogram. Lots of ideas to copy, trace, or come up with your own design! We will learn several techniques and provide lots of tools and materials to try - pencils, pen and ink, watercolor or gouache, various calligraphy tools, or even add some gold with a bit of gilding foil. You can use your design to make a bookmark, add to a book page or cover, or use as a versal with type or handwritten text and design a book page - maybe a fun holiday card or gift?
All tools and materials provided. If you would like to design a specific letter, please let the instructor know prior to the workshop (otherwise, your handouts will be your initials).
