About this Event
Sally Ostestock is a long running member of SA Rare Fruit Society and will be teaching us how to graft deciduous fruits such as apples, pears and stone fruits
This workshop will include grafting demonstrations, followed by a chance to practice on sticks before having a go at grafting different varieties onto your own tree to take home.
IMPORTANT TICKETING INFO:
Attendees have the chance to purchase grafting knives & rootstock from us, OR they can bring their own. Please select the appropriate ticket, including the type of tree you wish to grow (e.g dwarfs, apple, pear, peach, plum etc) as this will dictate what roostock and scyons we need to order.
Please text Sally directly on 0438 512 389 if you would like a specific variety - please note all scyons are subject to availability
ORDERS FOR ROOSTOCKS MUST BE IN BY JUNE 28TH - no refunds will be provided thereafter
**If would just like to attend and practice grafting on some sticks or your own tree, you are welcome to simply purchase the "workshop only" ticket option. Grafting knives are reccomended, though not compuslory. Stanley knives may be used also.
